Making Ugly – Screened for Cast and Crew

Today Squarebox Yellow screened their debut feature film Making Ugly in Soho, London.

I’m rather proud to have been involved in this micro budget feature film. Andy Niblo (Director) and Mara Adina, Dara Carroll (Co-Producers) together with a small pool of hardworking creatives have pulled together this dark tale that looks quite excellent (and dare I say rather at home) on the big screen.

Congratulations to all the cast and crew on a great achievement.

The Team at Squarebox Yellow have just finished Making Ugly the debut feature film directed by Andy Niblo. Team Ugly are now ready for the film to hit the festival circuit and are seeking distribution.

To celebrate the completion they’ve released another teaser poster featuring Paul Quinn who plays Neil. Its another of my photos being used to great effect in a poster and I’m pleased to present it.

Basking in the last sun of the day

I recently wrapped on another beautiful, if gritty NFTS short film 9 Lives. Directed by Michael Lennox and starring Thomas Jordan, Madison Lygo and Jonathan Harden this 35mm film will look superb thanks to the cinematography of Arthur Mulhern.

Wavelengths at Film London Best of Boroughs festival

Earlier this year I had the brief pleasure of working for a day on the set of Wavelengths a short film directed by James Spinney and Matt Houghton and starring the absolutely delightful to work with Kate Anthony and James Smith.

The film is now completed and in the running for Film London’s Best of Boroughs Audience Award. You can view and vote for Wavelengths on the Best of Boroughs web site at filmlondon.org.uk/best_of_boroughs/wavelengths.

The Mercenaries – A Silver Koi Production

Last week I got a call from upcoming director Chris Chung, about working with him on The Mercenaries a fight sequence vignette inspired by the 2002 action classic Equilibrium. As the shoot was to be action intensive I was invited to join the key cast and crew for rehearsals.

Strays – Production Stills

I recently received approval from the producer of Strays to make publicly available my stills from this short film. I’m incredibly excited to present my update to the Strays gallery. You can be assured that my portfolio will shortly be updated to include some stills from this short film directed by Robert McKillop (www.robertmckillop.com) and was gorgeously shot by Maja Zamodja (www.zamojda.com) on 16mm film.

Strays stars Richard Madden (HBO’s Game of Thrones and C4′s forthcoming Sirens), Andrew Hawley (Canal+’s Borgia and ITV’s Wuthering Heights) and Sophie Stanton (The Bill, Holby City, Midsomer Murders and Ashes to Ashes just to name a few).

All the cast and crew on this project were a pleasure to work with and I can’t wait to see how Strays fares on the festival circuit. The production values from this project really show in this gallery of stills.
